What is Man to Man

Why are our men falling prey to the perils of the world?  Why do our men leave their families and/or children to fend for themselves?  Why can’t our men take charge as leaders?

Man to Man 2008 provides some of the answers to the aforementioned questions.  It is intended to help get men acclimated back into society and help them take a leadership role in their home and community.  The theme for this year’s Conference is “Each One Reach One.”  The Conference is about fostering personal responsibility and greater commitment to family and faith.  We believe that so goes the man so goes society.   

Man to Man 2008, a men only event, addresses matters concerning the whole man – spiritually, physically, educationally, socially, domestically, and occupationally.  Through the word of God, men and boys are informed about the perils of not living their lives within the purpose given by God.  Acts 4:12 says, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (NIV).  

For three consecutive days, men and boys of all ages will receive the “Word” on how to be a better man.  Informative and heart felt issues that will be addressed include:  Man and His Endurance, Man and His Example, Man and His Environment, Man and His Potential, Man and His Past, Man and His Purpose, and Man and His Distortions.

This year’s power-packed Man to Man event will be held October 16 – 18, 2008, at the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk Hotel, located in downtown Jacksonville, Florida.  A nominal registration fee will cover all sessions and workshops. 

Featured guest speakers for the event include David Ring, Dr. Juwanza Kunjufu, Dr. Gary Hall,
Pastor Kerwin B. Lee, Dr. P. M. Smith and Dr. Alphonso Jackson.  Vendors, merchants, and corporate sponsors will be on site offering and aiding all men and boys with resources they need for employment, education, health, business opportunities, and others. 

Man to Man 2008 is the perfect get-a-way or retreat for pastors, men ministries, men groups, and the man who desires to be the best that he can be.  We are excited and have great anticipation about the paramount impact this year’s conference will have in the lives of men and boys across the nation.
